THE AVE KIDS

WE STRIVE TO HELP KIDS FEEL LIKE FAMILY, FIND THEIR FAITH, AND FOSTER A CHRIST-LIKE FUTURE

Sunday School Services | 9 AM & 11 AM

OUR MISSION

We want kids who come to our church to feel like family, welcomed by leaders and other kids, and loved and cared for by our team.

We want to help kids find their faith through Biblical teaching and provide a safe place to ask questions about God and life.

We want to be a living example of Christ as we help kids grow in their faith and foster a Christ-like future.

We want to partner with parents and equip families to live out their faith in practical ways as they grow.

    Go over memory verse/ Craft/Potty

    Craft/Play until parents arrive/Double check faces/hands

  • 1. Get a good nights rest the night before.

    2. Try not to rush in the morning and arrive 10-15 minutes before church to show them around and let

them play with the other kids before church starts.

    3. Let them know the night before what to expect (see back for the typical schedule).

    4. Be positive, let your child know that when they go to kids church they will learn about Jesus and

have tons of fun. And at the same time you learn about Jesus. You both can talk about what your

    favorite parts were at lunch.

    5. Remind them that you will “be back in like 2 episodes of BLUEY”. They may not tell time yet but this

is something that can help them know how long you will be separated for.

    6. Tell them the night before that you will give them 2 hugs and a kiss and then you will leave to

church. It helps them to know what to expect when you will leave.

    7. Feel free to ask one of the teachers to help if your kiddo is having a hard time.

    8. When you make church important it becomes important to them. Try to be consistent. There maybe

tears but it will get easier with time.

EXTRA SUPPORT ROOM

Our Extra Support Room, available during the 11:00 am service, is designed for both first-time and returning kids who may need a little extra support. This room is open to any child who could benefit from a calmer, more individualized environment, whether they have a diagnosed or undiagnosed condition, or simply need extra support on any given day. It’s a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where children can learn about God’s love at their own pace. This also allows parents to attend service knowing their child is cared for and supported by a loving church family.
