Peter just watched God break every rule he thought he knew. The gospel crossed a line the church was not ready for, and now he has to explain it. His defense is simple: God did this, not me. Who was I to stand in God's way?
The room went silent. Then they worshipped. Because when God gives the gift of repentance to someone you never expected, the only right response is awe. So the question for us: is there anyone we have been slow to accept that God has already accepted?
We are four weeks into 70 days of prayer leading up to our 70th Anniversary on December 6. A new prompt goes out every morning at 6 AM. Every morning is another chance to seek God together.
